QuietAir
Active Silencer
QuietAir is an active silencer that effectively reduces unwanted tonal and broadband noises in the piping of ventilation systems and compressors. The associated vibrations and oscillations are minimized.
You are not blowing air but something else? We can silence any kind of gas or liquid with our specialized produkts QuietHydro and QuietOil.
Active and Adaptive
QuietAir operates in real time and adaptively adjusts to changing conditions in any system, ensuring optimal damping performance at all times.
QuietAir is based on the principle of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) combined with a specially developed actuator. Like a loudspeaker, the actuator generates sound waves within the connected pipe that overlap with and cancel out the noise in the line. The actuator does not obstruct the flow inside the pipe, so there are no limitations to the throughput.

Pressure Pulsations
QuietAir acts directly on the working medium, damping the sound waves within the pipeline. The amplitudes of these sound waves are reduced by up to 99.5% compared to the system’s undamped operation.
The damping effect is broadband and not limited to specific frequencies, addressing not only rotational harmonics but also broadband noise.
Vibration
Sound waves from fans or compressors propagate throughout the entire piping system and remain audible far from the source. Pipes, fittings, and structures can be excited to vibrate at a considerable distance.
QuietAir dampens the sound waves directly at the source, preventing their widespread propagation.
With QuietAir, vibration-induced alternating loads are significantly reduced, preventing material fatigue.

Compact Design
QuietAir can be manufactured in any size, typically matching the nominal diameter of the pipeline.
Thanks to the compact design of our systems, integration into existing pipelines and confined spaces is easily possible. This enables a wide range of applications and ensures flexible adaptation to specific customer requirements.
The system is plug-and-play. Installation takes only a few hours, allowing the pipeline to be quickly put back into operation, minimizing downtime.
