QuietOil
Active Vibration Damper
QuietOil is an active pulsation damper that effectively reduces pressure pulsations in pumping systems and pipelines. The associated vibrations, oscillations, and noise are minimized.
QuietHydro is based on the principle of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) in combination with an electrohydraulic actuator. Like a loudspeaker, our actuator generates a pressure pulsation in the connected pipeline that overlaps with and cancels out the pulsations from the pump. The actuator does not obstruct the flow in your pipeline, so there are no limitations in the flow rate.

Active and Adaptive
QuietOil operates in real time and adaptively adjusts to changing conditions and operating points of any pumping system. This ensures that optimal damping performance is continuously achieved.
This allows for demand-oriented speed control of your pump without generating resonances in the system. As a result, you can once again operate efficient pump setpoints that would otherwise cause excessive vibrations.
Thanks to active control, QuietHydro can not only dampen pressure pulsations but also optimize and monitor your system
Pressure Pulsation
QuietOil acts directly on the working medium, damping pressure pulsations within the pipeline. The amplitudes of these pulsations are reduced by up to 99.5% compared to undamped pump operation.
The damping effect is broadband and not limited to individual frequencies. This means that not only harmonics of the pump speed are addressed, but also broadband noise.
Vibration
Pressure pulsations propagate through the fluid across the entire piping system. Pipes, fittings, and structural components can be excited to vibrate even far from the source.
QuietOil dampens pressure pulsations and vibrations directly at the source, preventing their widespread propagation.
With QuietOil, vibration-induced alternating loads are significantly reduced, helping to prevent fatigue and wear.
Compact Design
QuietOil can be manufactured in any size, typically based on the nominal diameter of the pipeline.
Thanks to the compact design of our systems, integration into existing pipelines and confined spaces is easily possible. This opens up a wide range of application possibilities and ensures flexible adaptation to specific customer requirements.
The system is plug-and-play. Installation takes only a few hours, allowing the pipeline to be refilled quickly. This minimizes downtime.
