Hydronauten have made it into the final three in the “Decarbonization” category at the inaugural AIDA Innovation Hub!
AIDA Cruises’ platform selected forward-thinking ideas from more than 150 applicants to drive sustainable progress in decarbonizing the maritime industry. The fact that our patented QuietHydro technology, designed for active vibration damping, has now received such strong recognition in the maritime sector is a tremendous endorsement of our innovation.
Our solution makes onboard pumping systems up to 30% more energy-efficient and reduces pump noise by up to 95%. This helps conserve resources while creating a noticeably quieter environment for crew members and guests.
Although we narrowly missed out on the overall win at the final event held at AIDA’s headquarters in Rostock, we still came away with a great deal. We made valuable connections across the shipping industry and received insightful feedback from a distinguished panel of industry experts.
